LULLABIES
Lullabies help to create a calm environment that nurtures reconnection through comforting feelings of familiarity and support. Lisa chooses the vulnerable style of a cappella to maximize the healing sounds of intimate song: the voice, breath and silences in between.
In 2012, Darling began working with neonatal and pediatric patients, eventually expanding to end-of-life patients, and young adults with the Cognitive Neurology Department at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. In her experience and research she has seen the vast and ageless healing capacity lullabies hold.
